Important Business Update: Bee Best Bee Removal is open for business.

In light of the recent Covid 19 virus outbreak that has erupted worldwide, (including here in San Diego county), we want to keep you informed regarding the status of our ability to provide bee removal services.  We have received many calls since the outbreak of Covid-19. Many of our new and existing commercial and residential accounts have been surprised and pleased to know that we are open and available to provide bee removal service.

In accordance with CDC guidelines and Executive order N-29-20 set forth by Gov. Newsom of California, Bee Best Bee Removal is classified as an “essential business”. This means that because we are a pest control company (that is licensed by the State of California), we are legally allowed to provide service during the “shelter in place” order.

As an essential business, we here at Bee best Bee removal are committed to continue to provide bee removal service during this difficult time in our nations history.

Our priority during this time is to balance the well being of our customers and employees, while also continuing to provide essential bee services. In order to serve the needs and safety of our clients, we have implemented updated “best practices” to help keep you and our staff safe. Below are the current strategies we are now employing. Some of these have been our standard protocol for many years, and some are new and effective immediately.

  • Social Distancing: In order to adhere to recommended social distancing practices, office staff are now working from home, instead of working in the office.
  • Team member health protocol: No team member exhibiting signs of illness, or a temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, will be allowed to provide service. All employees exhibiting any symptoms of a cold, flu, or virus will be paid to stay at home, in order to keep our clients and other staff members safe.
  • PPE (personal protective equipment): In the field, you may find our service technicians wearing a face mask, bee suit, gloves, eye goggles, and/or a respirator.  By law, our technicians have always been required to wear PPE while handling insecticides and/or bees and other household pests. If needed, all field technicians will wear the same PPE during personal interactions with our customers.
  • Payment Method: To aid social distancing during payment, we encourage our customers to pay via e-check or credit card online, or by phone. If a signature is required on a service agreement or contract, we encourage our customers to use their own pen when signing documents. If possible, we highly encourage our customers to electronically sign these documents online. All receipts for payment can be emailed upon completion of payment.
  • Technician Interaction: Most of the time, our field technicians never have to enter the home, office, or structure in order to service a bee issue. 95% of the time, the job can be completed without ever entering the home or office. On the rare occasion a technician needs to enter the home or office in order to gain access to the bee problem, the technician will wear a face mask, gloves, and/or a respirator when necessary.

Bee Best Bee Removal is committed to keeping our technicians and clients safe during this outbreak. During this time we also ask for your help in stopping the spread of the disease by notifying us if you are sick or quarantined, particularly if the technician needs to go inside the structure or office space. In addition, we ask that you limit the number of family members interacting with our technicians. This means limiting interactions with children and/or other family members who are not essential to the business transaction.

During this epidemic, Bee Best Bee Removal will continue to closely monitor the Covid -19 situation. As the situation progresses, we are committed to continue to improve and work on ways to ensure the safety of our employees and customers.
