Medium sized swarm in tree with yellow flowers
This small to average sized bee swarm was hanging low to the ground. This kind of swarm will usually leave within 2 or 3 days due to it's exposure to the elements and it was hanging off a flimsy branch. The property owners wanted it removed quickly due for the safety of people walking by.

This small swarm was tucked in a tree that had thick branches and would have likely built a hive here within a couple of weeks. There was no need to cut the tree to remove the bees. We quickly moved them to a Nuc box and transported them to an apiary.

Here's a photo of a bee swarm inside of a plastic pallette at a recycling center in El Cajon, CA. Recycling centers are perfect place for bees to forge due to the soda cans and bottles.
